Since the year 2023, Acting for Peace, Development and Well-being for All (APDWA) has been working to promote sustainable agriculture in Bunyakiri/Kalehe, South-Kivu, DRC. More than 6000 seeds of cocoa trees have been distributed for free of charge to ± 300 farmers in Hombo, Irangi, Mukowa, Mashere, Makwe, Kabenga, Bunyakiri/Kalehe territory.
