We raise awareness and educate community members (leaders including women, youth and local media) on the promotion of human and environmental rights in South Kivu, Democratic Republic of the Congo. Each of these layers of the society has a role to play in promoting rights in general and in Conservation in particular. Primarily, we work to ensure that Conservation respects human rights – communities’ rights and that decision-makers recognize the role played by communities in conservation.
